Do I need any technical skills?
None at all. If you can describe your business to a friend, you can build and run your website. There's nothing to install and nothing to learn, and we walk you through pointing your web address at it.
Can I type instead of talking?
Of course. Talk when it's handy, type when it isn't. Either way, you point at what you want changed and say it in your own words.
What if I don't like how it looks?
Say so. "Make it more modern", "try a darker look" or "use our green" all work. Every version is saved, so you can always go back.
I don’t have a website yet. Can you still build one?
Yes. Describe the business in a sentence, out loud or typed, and we write and build a first version: the pages a business like yours needs, with tidy gaps where we need a photo or a price from you. You change it from there by talking.
I have just paid for a new logo. Can you use it?
Yes. Send the logo and your colours, or point us at a website whose look you like, and we build your words in that. The new brand runs through every page, not just the header. If you change your mind later, say so and it changes.
Can I keep my web address?
Yes. Keep the web address you already own, and we walk you through pointing it at your new site and set up the padlock. Your old website stays exactly as it is until you choose to go live.
Will my email keep working?
Yes. We only point your website at BuildSpark. Your email stays exactly where it is, with whoever provides it now.
Will I lose my place on Google?
No. Your page addresses are kept, or pointed at the new ones, so the pages Google already knows still work.
Can I take bookings or payments?
Through the service you already use, like Square, Cliniko or a booking link, added to your site as a button or a form. Full online shops are not supported. Tell us if you sell online and we will let you know if that changes.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time, and you can download a full copy of your site whenever you like.
Is the website mine?
Your words, photos and brand are always yours. On a paid plan you can download a full copy of your site's files at any time, and any web developer can put them online somewhere else.
Will it work for my kind of business?
